Emergencies, significant incidents and/or extreme weather conditions (such as freezing temperatures, snowfall, heavy rainfall/flooding etc.) can have an impact on the ability of a school to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of its students and staff.
Whilst it is expected that Heads will do everything possible to keep their school open following a significant incident or during extreme weather, there will be occasions when closure or part closure is a consideration.
