Overview
To help enable the delivery of smooth and consistent services for our customers and ensure the appropriate provision of staff and resources, we are moving the following services to a rolling contract as the default contract for their annual subscription services. The services covered under annual subscriptions include:
- Schools finance
- HR
- MIS services
Annual subscription contracts purchased for the new financial/academic year starting from 1 April 2023, will automatically renew for the following financial or academic year and thereafter. The subscription service can be cancelled by giving a minimum of 12 weeks notice in writing to the services for schools team at Hackney Education. Where less than 12 weeks notice is received, the subscription will rollover for a further 12 months
Specifically, the clauses we would like to bring to your attention are 2.4, 9.1 and 9.2 relating to the Agreement period for specific products and services and the cancellation clause.
These changes will help to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality and tailored support for your school and will not affect other elements of the service. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with our new Terms and Conditions
Please note, the Music service and Payroll service are currently providing their services on a rolling contract and any terms and conditions specific to their services would continue to apply.
